This is our fifth year in the big city at the Copthorne Hotel on Newcastle’s happening quayside. As before there are plenty of chances to socialise and jam as well as venture out into this historic city!
We continue to develop the event and this year are delighted to welcome acclaimed folksinger, teacher and EFDSS Gold Badge holder Sandra Kerr as our North East guest speaker on Thursday, and multi instrumentalist and singer Tania Opland to run a range of hammered dulcimer workshops as part of the Wednesday programme.
As before we include a wide range of workshops, and plenty of opportunities to jam and socialise meanwhile we continue with that unique North Eastern flavour, this time with a bit of Irish thrown into the mix. Start learning Geordie now – gan canny!
